The humanitarian project “MONDO ŽELJA”, which for six years has uniquely connected the New Year wishes of children without parental care with citizens across Serbia, has won the prestigious title “Campaign with a Purpose 2025” in the SOCIAL category.
This award confirms the significance, continuity and authentic emotional value of the project, which has so far fulfilled thousands of wishes of children from all homes for children without parental care across the country. During the latest cycle alone, “MONDO ŽELJA” enabled nearly 750 New Year wishes to be fulfilled, bringing joy and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.
A story of solidarity, togetherness and festive magic
“MONDO ŽELJA” has, since its very beginning, nurtured the idea that holidays become more beautiful when we think of others. Citizens from all over Serbia, year after year, have shown great heart, choosing a child’s wish, preparing gifts and sending them with the sincere desire to brighten the holidays of children without parental care. The project is carried out in cooperation with social welfare institutions, the Ministry for Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, and the Secretariat for Social Protection of the City of Belgrade.
