Enterprise e-commerce solutions and the transfer of global expertise to the local market in focus of the joint appearance in Belgrade

Companies WMG (Wireless Media Group) and VTEX, a global digital commerce platform, appeared together at the prestigious Xperience25 conference in Belgrade. In the joint case study entitled Global commerce trends: Fight for consumer ownership and profitability, representatives of the two companies spoke about the most important challenges and trends shaping the future of the e-commerce industry at the global and regional levels.

Aleksandar Petković, Head of Commercial Growth at WMG, underscored the importance of transferring global experience to the domestic market and adapting international practices to local needs. He emphasized that companies in the retail sector in the region share similar challenges with global leaders, but that it is precisely here where room for progress lies.

“Our market has the potential to adopt the best global practices more quickly and turn them into real business results. The partnership with VTEX allows us to combine knowledge and experience from different markets and transform them into solutions that suit domestic companies. Our focus is on helping retailers improve their sales channels, optimize supply chains and build more lasting relationships with customers,” said Petković.

Kiril Dinov, Growth Leader for Eastern Europe and Poland at VTEX, spoke about global changes in supply chains and their impact on profitability. He laid particular stress on the growth of direct-to-consumer (D2C) and B2B2C channels, underlining that retailers around the world are increasingly seeking ways to respond to rising costs and pressure on margins.

“Sustainable, quality growth has become the main priority for every serious e-commerce strategy. The transformation of traditional supply chains through D2C and B2B2C models opens up room for innovation and closer connections with consumers. Together with WMG we have shown how global trends can be translated into concrete opportunities for regional companies that wish to build long-term competitive advantage,” stated Dinov.

The partnership between WMG and VTEX, which began a few months ago this year, has brought to the market integrated enterprise e-commerce solutions intended for large companies going through digital transformation. This cooperation enables clients to combine VTEX’s global expertise with WMG’s profound understanding of the local market, creating sustainable and scalable solutions for growth and profitability.

The joint appearance of WMG and VTEX at the Xperience25 conference attracted great attention from the audience and confirmed the strategic importance of the cooperation between the two companies in creating sustainable and profitable digital commerce models in the region.
